• Made 3 new nail sets! I’ve really been practicing.
  • I won’t include pictures today because I really want to hold myself accountable for creating a dedicated page for my nails on this site. Coming soon!!!
• Ordered some new shelves and reorganized the pegboard at the studio. Ordered more nail things. (obsessively diving into hobbies to avoid thinking)
• Made Weeknight Lasagna from NYT Cooking and I feel like this may have changed the meal prep game. So. Much. Lasagna. and so delicious!
  • I cooked some ground up italian sausage and added it to the lasagna mixture before baking for some extra protein.
• Finished the Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Wow, that book was profoundly sad and pretty racist at some parts.
  • It left me feeling pretty… empty, especially knowing how Sylvia Plath’s life ends.
  • A good book, but def a white woman of her time…
• Attended an incredible Friendsgiving on Thursday. The host, Le, is just a fantastic cook and all around fantastic human.
  • I got to meet some really fun, smart, and thoughtful folks and got to learn about things I previously didn’t know much about, including: mead brewing, West African history, and some hot skincare tips.
• I began making some headway on making Accountability Club a reality. After I publish this weeknote, I’m going to create the event and start inviting folks.
• Installed a FreshRSS instance on a DigitalOcean droplet I wasn’t using. Damn, this is so nice. It’s a game changer to be able to read my RSS feeds on the go + freshly sync’d.
  • It was also a good first foray into actually doing something on a server.

• Still playing Baldur’s Gate 3, still romancing Astarion!!!!
  • I got the Act 1 romance scene and damn, that was spicy.
• Still playing Webfishing to turn off my brain when needed.
  • I am almost done catching every fish!!
  • I finally acquired the Spectral Rod, and am hanging with the cool kids now.
